ARGYLE continue to make up ground on the leaders, but this victory in Somerset was marred by the sending-off of goalkeeper Michaela Phillips for handling the ball outside the penalty area.
Argyle got off to the best possible start when Chloe Roberts stepped up to convert a penalty.
Having beaten Weston 5-0 a few weeks ago, Argyle pressed hard, with goals coming at regular intervals through Sam Blake, Jemma Rose, Aoife Aherne, Katie Middleton and Emily Mousley.
Despite having Phillips red carded, the only real chance for Weston came from the penalty spot, with Laura Bray converting.
