NEARLY £900 has been given to Callington Town Council in aid of a new town mural. The money has come from the town's now defunct Chamber of Trade. When it closed many years ago, retiring officers from the chamber kept the bank account open for some years in the hope that it would be restarted. The officers have now decided that the money should go towards the town, and the subject will be discussed in full at the next town council finance committee meeting.
