WELLY wanging and giant sprout slinging were among the activities on the timetable as Liskeard School and Community College staged 12 Days of Christmas fun at the end of term.
Students were encouraged to wear a Christmas tie or apply festive face paint on the first two days, with each subsequent day having its own themed activity.
The youngsters baked cakes and biscuits for their class bubbles, decorated their tutor group rooms for class parties, wore Christmas jumpers and submitted festive jokes to make each other laugh – or groan!
Each day the young people were encouraged to bring in items for the Foodbank and to carry out a different small act of kindness, such as giving a compliment to a stranger, picking up litter or thanking a teacher.
We’ve got more photos from the fun in this week’s edition of The Cornish Times
