PLANS for a skate park in Millbrook are moving forward and a fundraising day was held there on Sunday to help raise cash towards the £36,000 needed to pay for the facility near the parish play park and football club. Cornwall County Playing Fields Association's Awards Scheme has pledged £2,000, and it is hoped £15,000 will come from Viridor. Millbrook Parish Council has set aside a further £5,000. Phase one of the scheme is due to start this summer.
