A Doggy Day Out at Mount Edgcumbe tomorrow (Sunday) will be celebrating the start of autumn with an event packed full of family fun with your dog!
The event aims to provide both owners and their four-legged friends with an opportunity to have go at activities such as dog-agility and the new craze to hit the dog-world – Canine Hoopers. There’ll be workshops and talks, games galore and even a charity dog-show in aid of Refuge4Pets.
Visitors will also be able to browse a host of dog-orientated stalls selling everything from clothing to toys.
As Jo Macaskie, Director of A Doggy Day Out says: “It’s been such a tough 18 months for families and their animals, so we wanted to create a dog-centric fete that enables both people and their pets with the opportunity to meet, connect and enjoy some quality time in a beautiful country estate environment. Mount Edgcumbe House & Gardens is a spectacular venue and we’re very much looking forward to the day”.

- Bark Board Game
The following extra-special activities carry an additional charge:
- Have your dog’s photo taken in our brand new pet photo-booth!
There will also be some activities to help our supported charities raise funds, including:
- A fun charity dog show, with all proceeds going to Refuge4Pets
- Fun scurry – can your pooch jump the hay-bales in record time? (Prize for the fastest!) All proceeds go to English Springer Spaniel Welfare
