The first race of the East Cornwall Primary Schools Cross Country League has been postponed due to the forecast poor weather.
The event had been due to take place at Great Trethew tomorrow afternoon (Friday 12 October).
Organisers the East Cornwall Harriers said: ’The weather forecast is horrible for tomorrow - the Met Office has confirmed a full day of rain and strong gusty wind.
’The Cross Country is postponed until next Friday 19th.’
The East Cornwall Primary Schools Cross Country League, sponsored by Tamar View Fruiterers and The Cornish Times, sees hundreds of youngsters compete for team and individual trophies across a series of challenging outdoor courses.
