FIREFIGHTERS from Looe Community Fire Station said a heartfelt “farewell and thank you” to their crew manager Quentin Robertson, who has retired from Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service after 19 years.

During the recent COVID-19 lockdowns, Quentin was one of several firefighters who used their Blue Light Response driving experiences to assist the South West Ambulance Service with driving ambulances.

“Cornwall Fire and Rescue are looking to recruit more firefighters to join the Looe Station and serve their community,” said station manager John Bowden. “If you are interested please contact us via our Looe Fire Station or Cornwall Fire and Rescue Facebook pages.”
