TWO years worth of artwork went on display last week at Liskeard's Art and Heritage Centre Stuart House. Ten students, who work in a studio at the centre, displayed paintings they had been working on since 2005 at an exhibition. The work on display included oil, pastel and acrylic paintings. Their tutor Linda Maynard, who was also exhibiting her work, was pleased with the reaction the public gave. 'We had a very good preview evening which was very well attended,' she said. 'I had some very nice comments about the standard of the work and how it was presented.' Following the success of the exhibition, Linda, who has been teaching art in Cornwall for many years, is considering holding a similar event next year.
