An exhibition of ceramics by Paul Jackson and Paintings and Prints by Anthony Frost will take place at Cotehele House, St Dominic, from April 8 until May 1.

Paul Jackson's reputation as Cornwall's premier ceramic artist has grown and spread over the years with his work appearing worldwide.

Paul qualified in studio ceramics in 1977 at Harrow School of Art and following a short period teaching in London, he pursued a career as a Studio Potter in Cornwall, moving to Helland Bridge in 1989.

His work can be divided into traditional - thrown in a variety of shapes and sizes, decorated with flora and fauna, and contemporary - his angled pots boldly marked with abstract geometric designs or with sensitive nude studies.

Anthony Frost is an internationally recognised abstract artist who has worked at Cotehele on many occasions, inspiring groups of local school children with his bold direct approach towards painting.

The exhibition is open daily 2.00pm-5.00pm or by appointment.
