A FASCINATING talk about an interesting Cornish building is taking place at Well St Chapel, Tywardreath, on Thursday, October 22 at 7pm.

In Search of Tywardreath (ISOT) is hosting a talk by Gary Craddock on Trerice Manor, near Newquay, which is entitled ‘Stories through the Stones’.

His talk will focus on Trerice’s history through archaeology and architecture, whilst the voices of its inhabitants through the centuries will also be heard.

Gary was a teacher for 25 years before retiring early and successfully taking a degree in archaeology at the University of Exeter.

He has been a volunteer for 16 years at Trerice where he manages other volunteers for two days a week.

During his time he has led two seasons of archaeological excavation at the site.
