A SPECIAL concert that will transport audiences straight into the heart of J. R. R. Tolkien’s universe is being held at the atmospheric St Germans Priory on Saturday, October 24.

Performed by the modern orchestra Mystery Ensemble, the magical evening will take audiences into a world where elves, hobbits, and dwarves roam.

The virtuoso playing of the musicians will bring to life the stirring, powerful, and deeply emotional compositions of Howard Shore, the three-time Academy Award winner, whose work shaped the very essence of Peter Jackson’s cinematic masterpiece.

The enchanting musical journey promises to be one of the most magical concerts that has been held at the church in south east Cornwall.

Two performances will be held, the first of which will start at 5.30pm, while the second begins at 7.30pm.
