There were emotional scenes as four volunteer soldiers from South East Cornwall returned from a six-month tour of duty in Afghanistan.

Family and friends welcomed home loved ones at the Territorial Army Centre in Plymouth on Thursday.

Among them was Yasmin Woodhouse, 13, of Callington Community College, who welcomed home dad Richard, an IT lecturer at Cornwall College Saltash.
