Parents, carers, schools and anyone with an interest, can have their say on proposed changes to admission arrangements for some community and voluntary-controlled schools for the 2020/21 school year.
Cornwall Council is proposing changes to the criteria used if school places are oversubscribed. Some primary schools could give greater priority to children who have a sibling already at the school. The schools changes are proposed include Calstock, Carbeile Junior School, Fourlanesend CP School, St Neot CP School, Stoke Climsland School and Torpoint Nursery and Infant School.
The proposals also suggest that the number of pupils at St Neot CP School should be reduced from 16 to 14.
Councillor Sally Hawken, Portfolio Holder for Children and Wellbeing said: ‘It is important we hear as many views as possible so we can make the most informed decisions.’
