The year 5 and 6 children at Looe Primary Academy celebrated the end of their Tudor topic by hosting a Tudor day for Pelynt and Polperro Primary Academy.

The children took part in a range of Tudor-themed activities and finished with a superb falconry experience.

Children and teachers dressed up to immerse themselves in the experience.

A school spokesman said: ’It was fantastic to have 130 children from the three schools engaging in all the activities to learn about the Tudors, such as punishment in the stocks, clay crafts and the day finishing with a brilliant falconry experience on the playground’.
