East Cornwall motor sports fans will get the chance to witness the new National Stock Car Racing season get under way on Sunday, with the first meeting taking place at the United Downs Raceway, St Day. West Country drivers had the opportunity to prepare for the new season at St Day's practice event at the end of last month, but now it is time for the real thing – and the action kicks off at 1.00 pm. The first duty of the new season will be to officially present Ross Rowe of Radnor with his prize for winning the 2009 Track Championship title on his home circuit.
