With first and second places in the league already decided it was only left for the winners of the third placed trophy to be determined and White Hart 'B' won a re-arranged match against Sports Club 11-0 on Thursday to leave Highwayman needing at least two points to secure the third spot.
They won a trebles and doubles in their Match against second placed British Legion 'B' who won 9-2 but gives the Dobwalls team the third place. White Hart 'B' miss out on third place by 5 points after they were 7-4 winners against White Hart 'A' but fifth and sixth places cannot be seperated after Dobsons won 6-5 at the Sports Club and Liberal Club were 7-4 winners at home to British Legion 'A'. It leaves Dobsons and Liberal Club with identical records.

Tonight (Friday) the Charity Blind Doubles Tournament will be played at A.F.C. Dobsons Social Club, Addington, Liskeard. Entry Fee will be £1 per player and entries will be taken up to 8-15p.m. and no later so please come along as early as possible. At 8-15p.m. the draw for playing partners and order of play in the first round will be made. We hope that all league players will be present to support this charity event,all proceeds from the entry fees and a raffle will be donated to charity.
Next Friday, March 17, the Captains Cup Competition will be played at The Highwayman, Dobwalls. All team captains should be present at 8-30p.m. when the draw for order of play in the first round will be made. Any captain not present at this time will not be included in the first round draw and will be disgualified from the competition. Sufficient rounds will be played to determine the 1999/2000 Champion. All entry forms for the singles, doubles and trebles should be returned by tomorrow Saturday 11th March to Peter Mutton.
