Luckett v Menheniot
Put into bat by Menheniot, Luckett's batsmen were soon notching up the runs. Their first pair of Roy Williams and Chris Bowden put on 62 runs for the first wicket, the pair being split when Bowden was out for 24. Williams was the next to fall at 106 when he was out for 53 (including seven fours).
John Schutkacker hit a quick 19, including four fours, and Paul Sidey then hit 50, including five fours and three sixes. Paul Lowden helped the score along with 23 and John Hutchinson hit his first half-century for Luckett. He went on to finish on 62 not out, including 11 fours and one six. As the overs ran out, Luckett made their biggest score of the season - 262-6. Gard took 1-74, Goldsmith 2-72, Taylor 1-34 and Phil Adsett with 2-60.
Menheniot's reply of 182-9 was mainly due to M Rigler who carried his bat for 52, with eight fours in his innings. A Gard scored 28, with three sixes and a four and Andy Taylor managed 27, including four fours and a six. The pick of Luckett's bowlers was Matt Perry in 15 overs he took 6-69.
