MANY entries were received at the Crafthole and District Flower Show as villagers battled it out for nearly 30 prizes. The event also raised £200 for the RNLI – a cause chosen by organisers because of the valuable service lifeguards provide at nearby Whitsand Bay. TV presenter Alison John opened the show and was full of praise for the standard of entries.
