The Countrymen are a six piece Cornish group based in Launceston.

They perform songs about Cornwall – its heritage as a mining and fishing community and what it’s like to live there now.

The songs are usually in close, four part harmony with guitars and bass in support, but the accent is on fun and celebrating Cornwall.

And they’re appearing at Calstock Arts on Friday, January 19 in a free event – with simply a request for donations all of which go directly to the band.
