The BBC is reporting that large areas of South West uplands including parts of Bodmin Moor may be returned to the wild as part of plans for the future of subsidies and land management,
The Department for the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs has said it will consult local people and interested parties.
The leaked proposal is said to be part of the Government’s 25-year plan for nature.
