Liskeard will look back on this encounter disappointed they didn't collect the three points their dominance deserved. They enjoyed 75 per cent on the pressure and generally had Camelford on the back foot but is was a determined Camelford defence which kept them out.

Defender Shaun Heyward and Cliff Willis were solid for the visitors with 'keeper Richard Hamley outstanding.

"Their goalie had an inspired game", said joint manager Martin Hodge. "It was frustration but on the plus side we didn't conceed a goal, picked up a point and remain on top of the table."

Top scorers Colin Barrett missed a chance in the early minutes when heading wide. Then the classy Steve West had a thundering 30 shot shot tipped over by Hamley. Blues 'keeper Paul Lowden was stretched only once in the opening half but did well to deny Andy Watts. Camelford threatened in breaks but the work harding Watts and the force of Martin Rickard kept the home defence on their toes.

Right on the break Barrett had a shot beaten out by the advancing Hamley. Dominating the second period Liskeard pushed hard but again it was defiant visiting defence which kept them out. Neil Mullis and Barrett were both denied by the brilliant Hamley.
