This was a vital fixture for St Cleer as defeat at Goverseth Road would have pulled them into even deeper trouble at the foot of the table. But despite missing three regulars they maintained their improved form with a well deserved win and with 23 points are edging towards safety.
Timmy Jenkins was the hero with a trio of goals. Foxes started with a bang but then failed to build on a third minute Steve Ahurst goal. After 12 minutes Jenkins had struck twice to put St Cleer 2-1 ahead. Foxhole levelled before the break through Carl Mallett but they fell away in the second half and determined St Cleer going well under recently appointed manager Andy Pethick added a third through Mark Hocking. In the 70th minute Jenkins completed his trio.
