After a brave performance against the league leaders on Saturday, the Blues travelled again to second-placed Falmouth on Tuesday and once again performed out of their skins to push a team with title-ambitions to the wire. One hardened Town fan summed up the Blues performance: 'It was hard to tell who was the next-to-bottom side and if Liskeard play like that for the rest of the season then they will surely rise up the table.' Praise indeed but praise does not put points on the table and those two performances will count for nothing if Leigh Cooper's side fail to gain a result when they return to Lux Park on Saturday to take on 13th-placed Launceston.
