Crossing the River Tamar will be free on Christmas Day.
Tolls on the Tamar Bridge and Torpoint Ferries will be suspended for the day.
On the Torpoint Ferry, a normal Sunday service will operate until 8pm on Christmas Eve, after which there will be a half-hourly service. One ferry will operate a half-hourly service on Christmas Day (on the hour and half-hour from Torpoint, and quarter to and quarter past the hour from Devonport).
Two-ferry 15-minute services will run on Boxing Day, December 27 and December 28 from 6.30am to 9.30pm, and a normal week-day service with three ferries will resume on Friday, December 29.
There will be a normal Sunday service on New Year’s Eve.
On New Year’s Day, there will be a two-ferry 15-minute service from 6.30am to 9.30pm.
