Polperro Fishermen’s Choir has donated £2000 to Guide Dogs for the Blind.

Receiving the cheque on behalf of the charity were Lyn and Gary Moore with two puppies under training.

The cheque was presented by musician and versatile choir member Martyn Saunders, who is registered blind. 

At the short ceremony, choir chairman David Lashbrooke said: ’Our audiences are very generous and it is a real bonus for us to be able to support a lot of good causes while having the pleasure of singing.’
