The headline-makers this week are the Cheesewring who, after 21 attempts, won their first match of the season with a 6-5 success over the Market Inn.

The Market were actually 5-4 in front, only for singles wins from Duncan Putt and Sam Stewart to give Cheesewring the victory.

The biggest winners of the week were East Taphouse; they saw off visiting Cornish Ivy, 10-1, whose only point came from a doubles win by Nick Hall and Graham Babb.
