Caradon's attempt to get back to winning ways came to nothing against Bridgwater at Lux Park.
Despite going into the match is a positive frame of mind, Caradon looked ragged and undisciplined in the early stages and were a goal down after ten minutes, with the Somerset side clearly in the ascendancy.
The hosts did not lack effort, merely confidence, when driving forward as a unit.
Fleur Worden and Marcia Burgess ran their legs off in an attempt to maintain possession, but their passing game was weak – and this allowed Bridgwater to maintain pressure.
