There was a good attendance at the Caradon debate at Saltash Guildhall last week when Hugh Francis, leader of Caradon council, welcomed people from local organisations. Byron Davies, chief executive at Caradon council, gave information on the background and findings on the future plans for Saltash and district. Discussions were held in groups and their wishes for the town on issues of health and well being, culture and leisure, community spirit, education and life-long learning were discussed. Housing and environmental issues were also debated.
