A cafe which has long been a beachside fixture in Whitsand Bay is celebrating its 60th anniversary with a reunion party today.

The Eddystone Beach Cafe has a long association with the Whitsand Bay Surf Life Saving Club and the RNLI, as well as people living in the clifftop chalets at Tregonhawke.

Today’s event is the chance for anyone involved with these organisations over the past six decades to come together and share stories and old photographs.

Celebrations will continue into the evening with music and a bar.
