The Old Ferry Inn in Bodinnick is back on the market at a price of £1.2m.
The current owner, Bob Seabourne, who only bought the hotel last summer, has carried out an extensive infrastructure refit. He said: ‘I fell in love with the property the first time I saw it, the location is wonderful but sadly I have decided to sell up and return to Somerset.’
Said to have been serving travellers since the 13th century, the Old Ferry makes the most of its stunning riverside location overlooking the ferry crossing to Fowey.
Originally a coaching inn, the Old Ferry Inn continues to cater for travellers, offering 11 letting bedrooms – including ten doubles - with excellent river views as well as bar, restaurant and river terrace. There is also a two-bedroomed private flat with lounge and family bathroom for the owners included in the freehold price.
