The company has made a planning application to erect a new storage and distribution building in part of its existing car park.
Four parking spaces will be lost to accommodate the 215 square metre unit.
Vans would enter and exit the site via the road already used for deliveries to the store.
The plans, if approved, will mean that shoppers using the Liskeard store themselves can have their shopping delivered home; it does not entail an internet shopping aspect.
