Drivers, engineers and other staff at First Devon and Cornwall are taking part in a 24-hour walk-out today in a dispute over pay.
A spokesperson for the travel company said: 'We are incredibly disappointed that despite efforts and last-minute talks to resolve the current dispute with the union representing drivers and engineers, the planned walk-out is still going ahead. We would like to offer our sincere apologies to our customers who will be inconvenienced by the action that is taking place.'
The company is hoping to run a reduced park and ride service in Plymouth and some school and college routes. All other services are expected to be disrupted. It says it will try to update its website, Facebook and Twitter pages.
