‘Brazen’ fly-tipping in a picturesque woodland area is causing upset to residents.
The Seaton Valley road near the village of Hessenford has been plagued by fly-tipping, says resident Michael Kodicek.
On a recent visit, Michael was dismayed to find a television, an ironing board and other items of household waste.
’People have always disposed of their rubbish in the valley, but not so brazenly as now,’ he said.
It is a matter of pure laziness and lack of respect for the countryside.’
Cornwall Council cleared the fly-tipped rubbish.
A council spokesperson said: ‘We are continuing to work hard to tackle issues of fly-tipping. We will continue to respond, investigate and, where evidence is found, we will take the appropriate enforcement action.’
