A foster home is urgently needed for a cat taken in by an animal rescue sanctuary following the sudden death of her owner.
Bonnie, aged nine, was rescued by Woodside Animal Welfare Trust along with three other cats at the start of the summer.
But while the other cats have long since departed the sanctuary for homes, Bonnie has been left behind, despite her affectionate and friendly nature.
Staff at the animal rescue charity, which rescues and rehomes animals from South East Cornwall and South and West Devon, are concerned that Bonnie is depressed as a result of her prolonged stay.
Bonnie needs a home with foster carers who can give her time and affection, and who are able to bring her back to the sanctuary for veterinary checks.
The cost of these veterinary checks and Bonnie’s food will be covered by Woodside during the designated fostering period. She will also need to wear her veterinary collar while her skin condition clears.
For more information on Bonnie please email [email protected] or call the sanctuary on 01752 347503.
