The home side opened the scoring on the half hour against the run of play after Dobwalls had squandered a number of chances. Almost immediately the scores were level when Martin Polatch drove home through a packed penalty area. Just before the break a through ball was headed home by Robin Cale to give the visitors the lead at the midway point.
Simon Fisher who was returning after a couple of weeks break scored twice to seal the result and could have scored on a number of other occasions but failed to hit the target.
Man of the Match Martin Polatch completed the scoring on the stroke of full time to make it five. A few minutes before Sean Smith had scored Fowey's second of the day to make the scores respectable.
The game was a scrappy affair due to the conditions and Dobwalls are thankful that the game is out of the way having lost the corresponding fixture last year which effectively ended their title hopes.
