Callington's last game of their Division Four (East) season was a success for young Kevin Blatchford, who scored a hat-trick, one a clever chip over a static defence that was waiting for a pass.

Callington's all-round game was too strong for Mary Tavy with another youngster, Chris Milburne, getting the other goal after making a strong run from almost the half-way line. The run was one of close control and determination finished off with a side-footed shot. Paul Fletcher in goal was an inspiration to his team mates and a reliable figure when the opposition attacked. The future looks bright for Callington if they can keep the young lions coming through.
