This was a very poor display by Pelynt who were comfortably beaten by an impressive looking St Minver side.
The home side were quicker to the ball and for the most part, left Pelynt chasing shadows. If it wasn't for the strong tackling from the likes of Matt Johns and James Smith the visitors would have buckled a lot sooner. Saints did take the lead on 25 minutes after a crisp move gave their striker a shooting opportunity on the edge of the box and he gave Phil no chance with a shot into the corner.
Some of Pelynt's younger players did show promise when they received the ball, namely Peter Burchell and Ryan Powell but they were given few opportunities to show their skill and Saints doubled their lead shortly after the break. Pelynt never looked like getting back on terms and a third goal on 75 minutes effectively ended the game.
