COLLEAGUES from Tesco stores and Rowe’s Cornish Bakers raised £11,000 for the RNLI through the sale of a special line of biscuits.

The biscuits – which are sold exclusively in 32 Tesco stores across Cornwall, Devon, Dorset and Somerset – are priced at £1 with 10p from every sale going to the charity.

Since the partnership began three years ago, more than 585,900 biscuits have been sold, raising more than £11,000.

The chocolate chip and orange biscuits are produced by Rowe’s Cornish Bakers in Penryn.

The special biscuits are on sale again now in Callington Tesco.
