SALTASH Youngstagers held an open evening at Saltash Community School on Friday when special guests included the mayor of Saltash, Sue Hooper, Caradon's Ambassador for the Arts, and David Carter, Caradon's Ambassador for Youth. Marilyn Grose, who formed the Youngstagers several years ago, was the co-ordinator for the evening's rehearsal for their forthcoming show 'Cockney Cocktail' on April 16, (at 2.30pm and 7.30pm) then again from Thursday, April 21 to Saturday 23 inclusive at Saltash Community School hall. Fifty young people aged from six to 18 years will be taking part and many parents and friends are helping with the production by Marilyn Grose. Youngstagers have made their mark in the towin with their many productions and have won numerous awards from Calor Cornwall Village Panto awards. This year the proceeds will be for the Charity 'Give a Child a Chance'.
