Pengrillie, a one-day festival of food, music and competitive barbecue, takes place in the grounds of Pentillie Castle, near St  Mellion on August 6.

Headlining the festival is the hotly contested barbecue competition. 

Street Food and trade stands, a dedicated children’s entertainment area and professional smoking and grilling demonstrations feature, and there will be live music from Black Friday and local band Cornish Jam.
