SALTASH Lions Club are preparing in earnest for their huge family event to celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee on Saturday, June 4.
The event, which will feature live music from the notable music project of Livewire, will also see many other attractions such as a bouncy castle, Saltash Fire Cadets demonstrating their skills in fire safety awareness, and much more to be announced.
Also attending the celebration which is being held at Warfelton Field from 10am until 4pm will be the Saltash Lions Platinum Jubilee Royalty; the Royals – Platinum Queen Elase Stockly, Platinum King Isaac Jones and Platinum Princess Poppy Elford – have all been fitted out with their exquisite Royalty attire.
A spokesperson for the Saltash Royal party said: “They are all looking forward to the big event on June 4, then of course for all the other events that they will be attending in the ensuing year.
“They are very excited and eager to get started, which they all consider to be a great honour representing the Saltash Lions on such a wonderful platinum Jubilee occasion.”
Saltash Lions are continuously raising money for local and worthy charities, and would welcome volunteers at their Lions Den Charity Shop in Saltash Fore Street. Volunteers would be most welcome to call in the shop to speak to a member of the Saltash Lions.
