TORPOINT Council Chambers were very busy all day last Saturday where an All Day Breakfast and Table Top Sale was held in aid of the Tsunami Disaster Fund. All money raised will be donated to the Cornish Charity Shelter Box. The Organisers Val and Mike Pearn would like to thank everyone who came along and supported the event or helped in anyway. Special thanks to all the willing helpers: Pat Jasper, Phyllis Clarkson, Jeanette Cochrane, Lara Sinclair, Liz and Chris Harris, Rachael Pearn, Gemma Vigus, Tina Crago, Alice Sprague, Jenny Hughes, Di and Derek Hunt, Margaret Robertson, Sheila Heatley, Shirley Hortop, Stan and Christine Martin, Dian Clark, Ethel Crago, Sue Lorrimer, Laura Novak, Wendy, Deej, James and David Franklin, Daniel Brown, Christopher Thompson, Kyle Branco, Jarra and Karen Brown and last but not least Tony Smith and the Town Council for the use of the Council Chambers. A grand total of £1,573 was raised and there have been more promises of donations.
