A TEENAGER remains in hospital with serious injuries following a road traffic collision between a car and an electric powered motorcycle, and police are now appealing for witnesses and relevant dash-cam footage.

At around 10.15am yesterday morning, Wednesday, August 12, emergency services responded to a report of a collision at temporary traffic lights on St Stephen’s Road, Saltash.

It involved a black electric powered motorcycle and a blue Ford Puma.

A Devon and Cornwall Police spokesperson confirmed: “The teenage rider was taken by ambulance to hospital and has sustained serious injuries. Next of kin has been notified.

“The road remained closed while the circumstances of the collision were investigated by road policing officers.”

Anybody who may have witnessed the collision or has relevant footage is asked to contact police on 101 or via the website quoting log 224 of 12 August.
