Two accidents left more people injured on roads in South East Cornwall last night.

Seven people were injured in a serious two-vehicle crash on Polmear Hill, between Fowey and Par, shortly before 9.30pm.

Firefighters from Fowey, St Austell and the rescue tender from Bodmin helped paramedics treat the injured.

At Polbathic, a car overturned. Police and Torpoint firefighters were at the scene and all occupants of the car were said to be safe. Firefighters posted this picture on social media.

Fire crews made the vehicles involved safe.
