An incident in Leanway, Saltash left a man injured and a woman being tasered.
A police spokesman said: ’A female has made off from the scene, we have caught up with her and she’s had to be tasered because she reacted violently to police presence. She took a knife out, and we used minimum force to restrain her.’The incident happened at 17.18 when bystanders heard screaming and shouting and a young man was seen on the floor. Other young men were reported to have fled the scene.The victim received a cut to his head and was treated at Derriford, the woman was checked out at hospital and is now in police custody. CID are dealing and scenes of crime are at the scene.Police are appealing to witnesses to the incident. Phone 101.
