Paramedics called for help from firefighters to go to the rescue of a woman who had fallen behind the front door of her home so help couldn’t get to her.

Firefighters from Fowey forced their way into the home in Vine Place Tywardreath shortly after 11pm yesterday (February 11).

The ambulance crew were then able to care for the woman.
