POLICE are appealing for anyone with dash cam footage to come forward following an accident in which a motorcyclist was airlifted to hospital.
The collision between the motorbike and a car travelling in the opposite direction happened at around 11.20am on Bank Holiday Monday (August 31) at the Viverdon Down roundabout, St Mellion, on the A388.
A 47-year-old man suffered serious injuries and was taken by air ambulance to Derriford Hospital.
Local Police Officers, Operations Department Officers and Specialist Officers from the Roads Policing Team attended the scene, closed the road and launched an investigation.
Police are requesting that anybody with any information and/or dash camera footage are to please come forward, unless they have already been in contact with officers at the scene, by phoning 101 and quoting Police Incident Number 279 of 31/08/2020.
