The police firearms and ammunition surrender in Devon and Cornwall comes to an end this weekend.

If you have an unwanted firearm, you can hand it in without being arrested for illegal possession at the point of surrender until tomorrow, November 26. You can remain anonymous.

You are advised to check the opening times of your nearest police enquiry office, all of which can be found here, as not all are open for the whole weekend: https://www.devon-cornwall.police.uk/our-services/firearms/firearms-surrender/

If you have any queries about transporting items, or if you cannot attend one of these offices, please email [email protected]

So far, police have accepted 475 individual weapons and 162 individual ammunition surrenders of various calibres/types totalling in excess of 20,000 rounds.
