Emergency services called to wall collapse

EMERGENCY services have been called to an incident in Looe this evening after reports that a wall had collapsed onto a building.

Police and multiple fire engines were sent to Shutta Road at around 7pm.

Cornwall Councillor Armand Toms posted a message saying: "The building is damaged and building control is awaited to assess safety. All flats checked and are clear."

There are no reports of anyone being injured.A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police said: "A roof has collapsed at an unoccupied property in Looe. There are no injuries."
