Looe Coastguard and Tamar Coastguard Rescue Teams were called on just after 11pm last night to help South Western Ambulance recover a person at the bottom of a cliff in the Freathy area on the Rame Peninsula.
The teams had to climb down a cliff to rescue the casualty. But the area the victim was in made was not suited for a straightforward rescue making it difficult to get them back up the cliff.
They were taken to hospital for treatment.
